Hello, I’m Helen and I’m a professional chef based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. I completed my three term professional chef diploma at Leiths School of Food and Wine - one of the UK’s leading culinary schools.

As a Private Chef, I create stylish food for dinners, canape parties and small events in London and the Home Counties. I trained in Modern British and French cooking and I enjoy cooking Italian and Mediterranean food too.

I am passionate both about food quality and sustainability. I work to find local, ethical food producers to source ingredients from. Where possible, I use British and in Season ingredients and offer a wide range of vegetarian and plant based meals alongside meat and fish option.

I am always happy to talk through your ideas and answer questions. Sample menus are available upon request and there are options for a wide range of budgets.

I offer Cookery Lessons which range from one to one private Skills Mastery Sessions to fun Group Sessions.

Skills Mastery Sessions are focused on areas such as Sauces, Pastry or Fish Preparation and Cooking to develop your cookery skills and confidence.

Fun Foodie Group Sessions are more relaxed and let you have a go at making food before indulging in some delicious snacks and drinks.

 
 

A collection of tried and tested free recipes can also be found on the website which range from light bites to more sophisticated supper favourites. I try to have a focus on fresh, seasonal products and nutritious ingredients, with more indulgent treats thrown in.

For me, cooking is a really creative process and I love to travel, especially to the Mediterranean, when I can to bring back inspirational food from new people and places.

I am married, live in Buckinghamshire, England and I have two teenage children.
