Crockers in Tring has Cracked Relaxed Fine Dining

Head Chef and MasterChef Professionals Finalist, Scott Bernard, proves that you don’t have to go into London if you want to indulge in top class fine dining.

We dropped into his restaurant, Crockers, for the Chef’s Table for a birthday treat for my husband and what a treat it was.

The food was delicious and was cleverly put together in every course. Crockers uses local produce such as Tring Brewery Beer in their bread as well as a locally finished cheese which is produced exclusively for them.

Highlights included a Mango Curd with Mango Sorbet (main picture) and Salmon with a Dill Essence (bottom right). Although, when I say ‘highlights’ there were no actual ‘downlights’.

The wine flight was also excellent value for money with some unusual wines from Lebanon as well as a delicious English sparkling wine.

With a relaxed and atmosphere at Crockers and a friendly and chatty team, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go - if you can get a table.

You will be in for a fun evening full of excellent food and wine. If you are lucky you might just get a bit of MasterChef gossip thrown in too!

Very Delectish!
